Building a website used to mean learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript, then spending a weekend on a layout that still broke on a phone. None of that is required here.

OneBoot is a website builder without coding — without, not "less". You don't need to know what a div is, or the difference between padding and margin. You need to be able to answer 10 questions about what you're putting online, either by picking a suggested answer or by writing your own.

🖱️ How "no-code" actually works

Here is the whole process, in order:

• Pick a site type — product or service, personal or portfolio, or event signup. Three options; choose the closest one.
• Answer 10 questions — 5 written for the type you picked, 5 shared by all three. Every question has a suggested answer you can take, and you can write your own where you have something specific to say.
• Let it be built — OneBoot reads your answers, works out the sections, writes the page and publishes it at yourname.oneboot.io with HTTPS. There is no publish button to find and no server to configure.
• Ask for changes in plain language — no editor, no code. Say what you want different, in ordinary words, and it gets changed. Free adjustments: 1 as a guest, 5 when you're signed in.

That is the whole interface: 10 questions, and a sentence when you want something changed.

🏗️ What you CAN build without code

There are three shapes to choose from, and they cover most of what a first website needs to do:

• Product or service sites — what you offer, who it's for, why it's worth it, and how to get in touch.
• Personal and portfolio sites — your work, your background, and how someone can reach you.
• Event signup pages — what the event is, when and where it happens, and how people sign up or register interest.

All three are one-page, mobile-first and static. There is no shopping cart, no login area and no booking system, so if you need those, OneBoot isn't the right tool yet — better to know that now than after 10 questions.

🔧 If you already write code

Then the flow will feel almost too simple, because there is nothing hidden underneath it: no advanced mode, no box for pasting your own code, no way to hand-edit the output. The 10 questions are the interface for everyone.

What you do get is a place to put your precision. If you already know the exact wording, structure and tone you want, write it into the answers instead of into an editor. Specific answers make a specific page; that is the part you control.
